MY ROLE
Lead Product Designer
The Research Accelerator is a design prototype born from our internal R&D initiative. It was developed following a thorough pre-study, driven by research insights gathered by 3fs MedTech healthcare specialist.
Problems
- Inefficient data access
> data stored in machines and accessed through USB, leading to slow and cumbersome data retrieval processes. - Limited data availability
> only provides limited time frame snapshots of data, hindering comprehensive analysis and research. - Complex data structures
> complex data structures require additional information, often stored in Word documents, making data analysis challenging. - Lack of domain terminology mapping
> the absence of medical domain terminology mapping impedes the interpretation and utilization of healthcare data, requiring specialized knowledge for meaningful analysis.
Goals
- Empower healthcare professionals, researchers, and data scientists to actively participate in data-driven healthcare, research, and development using medical device data.
- Tuning data into information.
- Ensure accurate and standardized representation of medical information, which is crucial for data interoperability, research, and decision-making.
- Share medical data in a meaningful way while having complete control over it.
