Problems
  • The old magazine design was visually congested.
  • The design was vague, complicated to grasp and therefore didn’t serve its own purpose.

Goals

  • Make the pages more inviting and the publication flow more easily.
  • Make writing and editing process simpler and more streamlined.
  • Serving scanners as well as in-depth readers.
  • Include more infographics.
  • Make a clear layout and section organization.
  • Give the content more room to breathe.
  • Use color very sparingly, proving that a simple pop of bold color can be more striking than a palette of rainbow brights. 
  • Make the look of the magazine more fresh, modern and insinc with the company publishing it.
